The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, commonly referred to as the 'Evo',
is a sports sedan purpose built for rally racing. Production for
the Evo ran from 1992 until 2016 with ten official versions to date
and the designation of each model depicted with a roman numeral (I,
II... all the way up to X). All generations use a two-liter
intercooled turbo inline four-cylinder engines and all-wheel drive
systems put down through a 5 speed or 6 speed manual transmission.
This specific example is a 2006 Graphite Gray IX GSR (9) which was
the last year of the CT9A chassis and features the desirable 5
speed transmission and black alcantara interior in near perfect
condition with a new black alcantara headliner recently installed
to finish off the interior the way it should have came from Mitsu.
This Evo has been upgraded every which way and to list every mod in
the description would take a lightyear. No bolt has been overlooked
on this build. From the built 2.2L motor, FP Green Turbo kit, a
full 3" ETS short route piping kit and intercooler itself, new ACT
6 puck clutch, and titanium all over the engine bay... the list can
go on forever. The wheels are Ambit-Doss RE18's and are no longer
produced to only further add to the rarity of this build and is on
a set of Tein Flex Z coil overs. With only a handful of examples
being brought to America and 16 year old kids wrapping them around
poles, it's only a matter of time before you can't find one of
these at all! It is easy to overlook the practicality of these
little dirt monsters as well, with four doors, two child seat
brackets, and a large trunk it shouldn't take too much discussion
with the boss to get a new grocery getter! Again, Evo 9's don't
come around for sale everyday... Make sure you don't let this
Japanese unicorn get away and head on over to I95MUSCLE.COM for
financing and trades are welcome! Call, click, or stop by today!
