For Sale: 1965 Chevrolet Corvette in Cadillac, Michigan

1965 Corvette convertibl. ,Frame-off restored completed in early 2014. Judged Top Flight in 2014 and NCRS documents are available. Engine is the L76, numbers matching, factory solid lifter 327. 365 hp. Stock 4-speed. The original 4.11 rear gear ratio was softened to a 3.36 ratio for improved driveability sometime in the car's past. Rare color - Goldwood Yellow, gold line radial tires and 1965 only knock-off hub caps. Perfect convertible top and rear window. Approximately 2,000 miles driven since restoration was completed. About 500 miles under my ownership. This car is spotless inside, outside, and underneath. About a year ago, I purchased this car from Corvette Mike in Anaheim, CA. , a well respected Corvette specialist that has developed a solid reputation over many decades. NCRS judging sheets included. Unfortunately, no restoration photos, but the quality of the workmanship is obvious There are two recent changes to the car under my ownership. I had an N11 chambered exhaust system installed for a more audible and pleasing exhaust note (personal preference). This system has the same number of baffles as factory side pipes, and therefore a very similar sound. However, the system is installed in the same location as the original under car exhaust, giving the car a stock appearance. I also installed a newer style mono-leaf rear spring replacement which improves the ride quality. Again, these changes were a personal preference and they could be reversed for a relatively small amount if the new owner should desire. The original Holley carburetor comes with the car. A matching new carburetor was installed at the time of the restoration.
