Vehicle Description
1961 Ford F-250 purchased this from an old hotrodder and it has
been my work truck for just over a year and aside from a now
repaired intermittent no-start issue has been a great little
hauler. Its 390 V8 starts right up runs and drives well... well
like an old truck. The steering and breaks are not power assisted.
The cab looks and sounds solid, with a good looking drip rail,
underside and cab corners. The doors and fenders are solid and have
good mostly straight metal with some light filler work on the door
skin. The hood is of equal quality but with rust/visible rust
repair along the bottom front. The bed has some rough looking welds
and construction but is very functional. I have replaced the
mirrors, wheels, tires, starter solenoid, ignition switch, door
window seals/rubber/felt and the front bushings, springs and
kingpins and anything else that has needed to be addressed. I also
installed a Mooneyes tachometer, voltmeter and oil pressure gauge.
