introduced in 2013 as simply the SRT Viper, leaving the Dodge name
in the dust, until reclaiming its namesake again in 2014. The
example presented here is a well maintained and no-expense-spared
modified 2013 SRT Viper GTS Coupe. It has 21,833 miles and is
finished in legendary Viper GTS Blue, together with dual white
racing stripes and black interior. This car's exterior appearance
imitates the famous livery in which the first 150 units of the car
were produced and reprises the highly successful 1996 Dodge Viper
GTS Coupe. The current owner purchased this car with 812 miles on
the odometer in June 2016 from the estate of the first owner, who
died shortly after purchasing the car new at a sticker price of
$134,490. The stock version of the car's all-aluminum, 8.4L, V-10
engine produced 640 horsepower at 6,150 rpm and 600 pound-feet of
torque at 4,950 rpm, the most of any naturally aspirated sports car
in the world at the time. Coupled with a Tremec TR6060 six-speed
manual transmission and a final drive ratio of 3.55, it had a top
speed of 205 mph and a 0-60 time in the low, 3-second range. Aside
from its many standard features (see original sticker available in
CarFax link), this car has $9,500 of options, including the GTS
Laguna Interior Package ($7,500), featuring premium Sabelt Laguna
Leather seats and premium leather throughout, as well as an
18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system ($1,000) and Viper GTS Blue
exterior paint ($1,000). To say it delicately, the current owner
tastefully transformed this car into a Track Monster. Specifically
enhanced for the occasional summer track day, which was an average
of four times per year. The total modifications tally up to $60k!
The full modification list is available in the photo gallery. Some
highlights of said list include the following: major modifications
include an Exoticraft rollbar, a Safecraft electric/manual Novec
fire suppression system, six-point racing harnesses, DSC/Tractive
active suspension, an Nth Moto triple disc carbon clutch and steel
flywheel, a Prefix Stage I Venom powertrain control module, an
American Racing exhaust system, 3.73 differential gearing, carbon
fiber spoiler and front splitters, and 7-spoke lightweight aluminum
wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. All said and done,
the Dyno results were around 700HP. That's one angry snake. The
above-mentioned drivetrain modifications, as well as the fire
suppression system installation, were performed by Prefix
Corporation in Auburn Hills, MI, an auto supplier that has been
deeply involved in Chrysler's Viper program for years. Most of the
other modifications, as well as maintenance, have been performed by
a certified Viper Technician. This car has always been garaged and
carefully cleaned, and has never been in an accident,
power-shifted, drag-raced, or otherwise abused (i.e., donuts and
burn-outs). It has always been professionally maintained and was
modified using quality parts and supplies. As a result, it
continues to run strong and look great. Parts and service manuals,
as well as an indoor car cover, also come with the car. Complete
