For Sale: 1957 Chevrolet 210 in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Body off frame restored. Looks stock but has some nice upgrades. Ready to cruise!

EXTERIOR: Excellent fit and finish. The body is laser straight, body gaps are excellent. The red paint is polished to a very smooth, glossy finish. Jambs are painted slick, weatherstrips were replaced. New Bel Air trim was added. Very good stainless around the windows. All the chrome front and back was replaced. New dual mirrors and antenna. New windshield and gasket. It rolls on a set of rally wheels. It comes with a bottle of touch up paint.

INTERIOR: Restored to original specs. Reproduction door panels and matching seat upholstery. Armrests, handles and cranks were replaced. The carpet was replaced, has matching mats. The headliner has some stains, no tears. Dome light works. The metal trim was painted smooth and glossy. The dash is sharp, the trim is excellent. It is missing the speedometer needle. It has updated 3-speed automatic shift indicator. New glovebox liner, light works. A retro stereo fits in the factory hole. It has speakers in the door panels and 6x9s in the rear deck

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded with a 327 that has an aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel with electric choke. The generator was upgraded with an alternator. Upgraded with an aluminum radiator. Also upgraded power brake system with dual reservoir. It has factory optional electric wipers. The engine bay and under the hood are clean metal painted neatly. It has both horns, battery is properly secured, hinges look new.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal painted gloss red. New rubber mat, seat divider and weatherstrip. It has a 5th rally wheel, tire has never been used.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration, new body bushings. The floors, braces and rockers appear to be real clean metal. It's been prepped and painted satin black. The front end was rebuilt at the same time. Bushings, springs, ball joints were replaced. In back it has air shocks. The dual exhaust has stainless pipes and cherry bomb mufflers. The brakes have been upgraded to disc in front. The e-brake assembly is hooked up. Stainless fuel tank. Looking up at the motor it's clean. Upgraded Turbo 400 automatic trans.

The 57 Chevy is timeless. Just as popular today as ever. This one is an excellent example- solid, straight and restored. Great as-is or make it your own. Some engine dress up, maybe some wheels can really put it over the top!
