The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1998 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird Convertible for your consideration. This vehicle is finished in a Bright Red exterior over a Charcoal leather interior. A ram air intake hood, chrome rims, and a quad exit Borla exhaust has been added to give this vehicle more aggressive exterior styling. A power convertible top will allow you to enjoy the summer weather and the upgraded Kenwood head unit paired with the Kenwood speakers will allow you to enjoy your favorite tunes. Some performance upgrades such as ceramic pads, slotted and vented rotors, K&N Air Filter, and a new Strut tower brace have been equipped to give this Trans Am the performance to go with the aggressive styling. This Pontiac is powered by an LS1 5.7L V8 which sends the power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, and makes a nice exhaust note through the upgraded Borla exhaust. This Trans Am has new rear shocks, and new sway bar links to help with handling and ride quality. The pop up headlights feature a new headlight motor and the window motor has also been replaced. This Firebird is currently showing 116,732 miles on the odometer and after being very well maintained, is in great condition for the next enthusiast to enjoy.

Pontiac designed the Firebird as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang and was produced from 1967 to 2002. The fourth generation being offered here was built from 1993 to 2002 with both a two door liftback and convertible were offered alongside the Camaro with major improvements like standard dual airbags, four-wheel ABS, rack and pinion power steering, and several non-rusting composite body panels. For the 1998 model year the Firebird received a mid-cycle refresh and featured many updated styling changes such as the new honeycomb rear light panel with circular reverse lamps.
