This beautiful 1953 Sunbeam-Talbot 90 Mark II A here at Sports Car
Company, is a rare find with a superb frame-off restoration
completed by the previous owner. This car was part of a private
collection that was owned for over 35 years. It was lovingly cared
for and had a full restoration.
This gorgeous Talbot 90 Mark II A is one of the few remaining
models of these hard-to-find cars. Originally there were a little
over 10k models made. As a Mark II A, our 1953 Talbot 90 had a
higher compression engine and upgraded brakes with larger drums
cooled by a ventilated disc wheel. The 90 was so named because it
could reach 90 mph, powered by an overhead-valve four-cylinder
engine making 70 hp. Independent front suspension with coil springs
and antiroll bars helped to provide stability and smooth the ride.
This car comes with a sunroof, heater, and executive seating in the
rear.
This car just received a full major service including replacing all
fluids, servicing the brakes, cleaning the fuel lines, and
replacing any belts and hoses, and drives great!
This Sunbeam-Talbot 90 Mark II A Saloon is an excellent choice for
a chauffeur to drive clients to and from special occasions
including weddings, for a hotel to shuttle guests on and off
property, or a collector wanting something special.
The five-digit odometer shows approximately 33k miles; only a
handful have been driven in while in the private collection.
