EXTERIOR
Pro shop base/clear repaint in the original factory correct blue paint code. Custom silver gray pin-striping that matches the wheels and interior upholstery. New windshield. All tinted window glass is good. Chrome bumpers are factory shiny, roof rack is in good condition. New LED/Halogen headlight and tail light kit. New 18-inch US MAG Rambler wheels with matte gun metal spokes and polished aluminum lips. New Uniroyal Tiger Paw 255/55/18 radial tires.
INTERIOR
All original dash, seats, carpets, door panels, and headliner in very good condition. New power door lock system. Electrical system completely gone through with repairs as needed. All dash features, gauges, front and rear climate control, window motors, seat motors, power mirrors, courtesy lights, etc. are functional. Original AC Delco AM/FM Cassette/CD audio system with custom EQ. These are very good quality factory stereos with crisp natural highs and low end punch. This comment is coming from me, an audio recording engineer.
AND, something I’ve never seen or heard of before, a factory VCR player mounted in a unique factory-custom center console. Viewed through a color TV monitor that faces the back seat, with two headphone jacks and separate remote control. And it works! This was the advent of SUV audio-visual technology a quarter century ago, to keep the kids pacified on family trips. I have included a VHS tape of the classic Blues Brothers movie which comes with the vehicle.
NOTE: The VCR center console with integrated TV screen is powered by cigarette lighter plugin and is simply bolted to the floor. (That's how it came from the factory). The point being, the entire unit can easily be removed and replaced with a standard Tahoe center console, available in the after market from many online parts store.
MECHANICAL
The drive train and suspension have been gone through from stem to stern, with hoses, belts, wires, gaskets, bushings, mounts, and fluids changed as needed. New R134 AC compressor, new fuel pump. All mechanical work is documented with invoices.
Brand new 2.5-inch Flow Master dual exhaust adds a nice subtle rumble. Undercarriage and engine bay are ASTONISHINGLY clean and rust free as photos show. The factory paint on the floor pans is still glossy! This Tahoe meets California emission standards.
