iconic or more desirable than the 1970 Chevelle, likely because
many see 1970 as the peak year for performance. But the high
performance isn't the only reason why '70 Chevelles, they are also
considered by many as the most stylish Chevelles ever produced with
their new bolder look. The new-look 1970 Chevelle featured a new
split front bumper, dual blending headlights, a redesigned
roofline, and new coke bottle body lines along with a refreshed
interior. This particular 1970 Chevelle comes to us from a
collector who has owned and meticulously cared for the car for the
past 24 years. Powering this 70 Chevelle is 468 Cubic Inch (stroked
454 block) V8 engine paired with a Holley Demon Single 4 Barrel
Carburetor that generates out 480 horsepower and 500 ft-lbs of
torque. The 468 V8 is backed by a Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission
so that anybody can drive this iconic muscle car with ease. The 468
engine is also outfitted with a number of performance upgrades
including MSD ignition, hooker headers, 2800 RPM stall converter,
among others. The handling on this '70 Chevelle is significantly
improved with a rear-mounted Hotchkis Sway Bar setup and a
positraction rear axle. This Chevelle has great options! With air
conditioning, you'll stay cool while driving and riding even on the
hottest summer days. With power front disc brakes, this 1970
Chevelle has plenty of stopping power especially with all that
horsepower under the cowl-induction hood. Power steering makes
getting in and out of those tight spaces at car shows or the local
drive in a total breeze. Riding on BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires
wrapped around American Racing Rims, this classic Chevelle has a
great look and even better ride. The exterior on this Chevelle has
been beautifully refinished in Flame Red that is accented with
White SS stripes. The interior on this muscle car is absolutely
stunning! The front bucket seats and rear bench seat have been
reupholstered in black vinyl and have a great look. The dash, door
panels, center console, and steering wheel are all in fantastic
shape and have a nice stock look. The interior on this 2 door
sports coupe is also loaded with options, including power windows,
power door locks, power trunk release, and a tilt steering wheel
that makes getting in and out of the car much easier. The dash
appears to be in its stock configuration equipped with a 120 MPH
speedometer, 7,000 RPM tachometer, temperature gauge, amp gauge,
fuel gauge, clock, and AM/FM Radio. A triple cluster of Sunpro
gauges are also tucked neatly under the dash, including a oil
pressure gauge, ammeter, and water temperature gauge. Whether
