For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet C/K 10 in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Vehicle Description

1967 Chevrolet C10 - 5.3L V8 - Borgwarner Turbo Kit - 4L60E Automatic Transmission - Red Over Black Interior - Power Seats This 1967 Chevrolet C10 featured here is just another example some of the amazing vintage trucks we have in stock here at Garage Kept Motors. This short box step-side truck started out life as a pretty cool vehicle just as it was ordered when it left the Chevrolet Truck Plant in St. Louis in 1967, however combined with the recent upgrades made to this truck this resto-mod truck has been transformed into a real head turner that is an incredible to drive. Th GM Flame red paint is well applied over professional body work and shines with a deep luster. The body panel alignment is near perfect and far exceeds factory specifications. The factory mirrors and door handles are all new, however the factory emblems have been removed to give this truck a subtle smoothed look. Bumpers are brand new and the chrome glows with a deep shine. The truck bed is well restored with new wood that has been refinished with a deep clear finish. It is clear there has not been one nut or bolt left untouched during the restoration and rebuild of this truck. Inside the cab the black interior continues the subtle upgrades that complement the iconic style of the trucks original style. Door panels are factory originals, and new carpet has been installed up the rear of the cab to add additional sound deadening. The custom bucket seats feature power seat adjustments and a console from a late model Chevrolet truck. Similarly late model truck gauges have been installed in the dash to monitor the vitals and give the truck a modern feel but still maintains the look of the original dash. An aftermarket tilt steering wheel is topped with a Grant Steering wheel. The interior presents as new throughout and the subtle upgrades truly compliment the traditional style of the truck. The underbody is clean and free of any rust. The frame has been stripped and repainted. The truck has been lowered using a professional kit including matching gas shocks and front sway bar. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt and features power steering and this truck rolls like it's new and handles as if it was on rails. The power assisted four-wheel disc brakes on the front and rear bring it all to halt with no fade. The fuel tank has been removed from inside the cab and a aluminum fuel cell sits between the rails at rear of the frame under the bed. The turbo's exhaust is well plumbed and exits in front of the tires on the passenger side. This all rolls on 16 polished Ridler wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich low profile Sport T/A tires. Under the hood sits a 5.3-liter V8 that has been turbocharged with a Borg Warner turbo kit. The LS swap is clean and professional, and the routing of the intake and turbo is well channeled and neat. The presentation under the hood is well detailed and will look great with the hood popped at your local show or cruise in. But this combination does more than look good, it is well sorted and produces 415 HP and 432 TQ at the rear wheels. The power all flows an upgraded 4L60E Automatic Transmission. This combination of outstanding power, excellent handling and braking will make it a shame to simply show this truck, this truck belongs on the track or at an autocross.
