Finished in Deep Ocean Black, this custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle
nicknamed "The Black Sheep" underwent a comprehensive restoration.
It is powered by a rebuilt 454ci V8 engine backed by a TREMEC TKO
5-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9-inch posi-traction rear
end with Moser axles and 3.50 gears. Equipped with 502 rectangular
port heads, a double roller timing chain, an Edelbrock Victor Jr
intake, carbon-fiber valve covers with custom breathers, 750 cfm
Holley Street Brawler carburetor, Chevrolet air cleaner with
Edelbrock filter, Russell braided fuel lines, HEI electronic
ignition system, Taylor wires with separators, custom pulleys and
heat-shrink hose clamps. It is also equipped with a custom aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans, power steering, power front disc
brakes and upgraded suspension parts, such as front drop spindles,
rear springs, and an Optima red top battery with an aluminum tray
with an aluminum overfill canister. The engine breathes through
custom Hooker ceramic headers and a 2-1/2-inch Flowmaster exhaust
system. The firewall, inner fenders and custom radiator support
were finished in textured paint for durability. The exterior
features a cowl hood supported with Eddie Motorsports black
aluminum hood hinges, black powder-coated dual mirrors and door
handles, a silver front grille and Optronics LED headlights. With
new tinted glass throughout, the custom burgundy and black interior
features a dome light, rearview mirror, Dakota Digital VHX gauges,
Ididit tilt steering column with a Billet Specialties 14-inch
Formula steering wheel, Billet Specialties pedals and a Hurst
shifter. The Chevelle rolls on 17-inch black steel wheels with
silver-painted hubcaps with black Chevrolet logos wrapped with
Sumitomo HTR tires.
