Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 underwent a frame-off restoration to
factory specifications. It is powered by a 396/350hp Turbojet V8
engine with a 4-barrel carburetor backed by the factory M20 Muncie
4-speed manual transmission and posi-traction rear axle with a
limited-slip differential. Equipped with the Z25 SuperSport 396
package which includes front disc brakes with power assist,
variable-ratio power steering, performance suspension, rocker panel
and belt moldings deleted and a dual exhaust system with bright
tips. The exterior sports a special domed hood, a black painted
grille, a special rear bumper with a black insert, front fenders,
wheel opening moldings and SS emblems on the door trim panels.
Additional features include soft ray tinted glass, windshield
antenna, windshield washer fluid level indicator, rear window
defroster-blower, left-hand remote control outside rearview mirror,
map lamp on rearview mirror, luggage compartment lamp, ashtray lamp
and an electric clock. GM of Canada documented and includes the
original owner's manual, warranty booklet and GM documentation.
Upgraded digital gauges but comes with original gauge package.
