This 1969 Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro re-creation underwent a
professional rotisserie restoration with the correct factory chalk
and grease pen markings. Power comes from a custom-built 427ci V8
engine with ported aluminum heads, forged pistons, Holley 750 cfm
carburetor, aluminum Edelbrock Victor Junior intake and an MSD
distributor. All backed by a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission
connected to a powder-coated 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. The
powder-coated subframe and suspension were upgraded with front
coilovers, tubular A-arms and a Caltracs rear suspension kit. It
exhales through Hooker ceramic headers and a Flowmaster exhaust.
Additionally, it is equipped with both power steering and power
Wilwood 6 piston front disc brakes. The exterior features Rally
Sport retractable vacuum-controlled headlight covers and a
functional cowl induction hood. The yellow houndstooth interior
seats are imprinted with the correct Yenko SYC logo and between the
bucket seats sits a factory-style center console with a Hurst
shifter. Factory-correct 3-spoke steering wheel, 140 MPH
speedometer and 6,000 rpm redline tachometer. It rides on custom
vintage-style 17-inch 5-spoke wheels.
