Vehicle Description
Featured at the Las Vegas SEMA show in 2001, this 1968 Dodge
Charger GTS underwent a complete bare metal restoration. Finished
in Viper Silver with a Viper Red bumblebee stripe, it is powered by
a Dodge Viper V10 crate engine backed by a Viper T-56 6-speed
manual transmission with a pistol-grip shifter and a narrowed rear
end with 3.91 rear ratio gears and Moser axles. The front
suspension was custom-built by BRT Racing products and modified
with Magnum Force adjustable upper and lower control arms. The rear
suspension was custom fabricated and fit with Strange coilovers.
Stopping power is provided by Wilwood brakes including 12-inch
front rotors with 4-piston calipers and 10-inch rotors in the rear
and a Mopar Performance master cylinder. The interior features SCAT
leather seats, a custom console, a custom gauge panel with
Autometer gauges and a Viper steering wheel. It rides on custom
Kinesis wheels and was the cover car for Mopar Magazine, featured
car for Mopar Action and Popular Hot Rodding as well as was
featured on Popular Hot Rodding TV. Additionally, it was awarded
People's Choice at the Mopar Nationals.
