Vehicle Description
Known as the "Silver Bullet", this custom 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T
underwent a three-year complete frame-off rotisserie restoration.
Powered by a 276ci Buick Motorsports Stage II engine backed by a
TH400 automatic transmission with billet internals, a Neil Chance
torque convertor and a custom Mark Williams Ford 9-inch rear end.
Equipped with a SCAT Billet crankshaft, Carrillo rods, JE pistons,
Comp Cams billet roller camshaft suited with TD roller rocker
shaft, aluminum 14-bolt Buick Motorsport cylinder heads and Hogan
custom sheet metal titanium intake manifold. Spooling this car is a
Precision PT 88 4-bolt turbocharger producing 25lbs of boost with a
5-inch custom down-pipe, Borla custom exhaust and stainless ATR
headers. Behind the power, this car is tuned with a FAST XFI
standalone computer including an MSD ignition system, 160 lbs/hr
fuel injectors and a Weldon pump sucking fuel from a custom deep
sump gas tank. Sitting on a ladder bar suspension equipped with
Koni coilovers it features a Chromoly roll cage, custom fabricated
rear mini tub and front inner fender wells, and shaved chrome
bumpers while retaining its heavy steel doors, deck lid and
bumpers, with the only fiberglass component on this car being the
hood. The interior was designed with custom leather seats, charcoal
died interior trim, and a simple Auto Meter dash set up. One of the
inspirations for this build was that the car had minor body damage
in the rear quarter, during the repair extensive customization was
decided to be done and it was a snowball effect from there. This
car was featured on the cover of GM High-Tech magazine, Car craft
magazine as well as a Carlisle GM Nationals Invite and winner,
Chicago world of wheels best in class back-to-back and MCCN winner.
