Chevrolet C10 Pick-up is an icon amongst collectible vehicles in
today's collector car market and are highly sought after. While
many people have fond memories of cruising the boulevards of their
town in a muscle car, which naturally, has driven the desirability
of these cars as buyers now seek to relive those reminiscences.
However, not everyone cruised the streets in town. If you grew up
with a parent in the trades our in a rural community, more than
likely your memories are centered around cruising in a truck. These
same trucks served a dual purpose, an important tool to help
complete work on the farm or in the family business and then at
night as a vessel to transport young people to some freedom from
their parents. These folks have fond memories of running backroads
and the two tracks on the family back forty in a truck and hanging
out with friends on a tailgate. Because of this, vintage trucks
hold just as strong a place in the collectible vehicle market as
any muscle car. Resto-mod versions of these vintage trucks are
equally as desirable giving enthusiasts a truck that handles and
performs like a modern high-performance machine. This 1970
Chevrolet C10 pick-up featured here is a perfect example of these
highly desirable modified trucks. The red paint pops on this
Chevrolet C10 making it a real eye catcher. Paint is professionally
applied over well executed body work. Body fit is better than new,
and the truck presents well visually. All chrome has been restored
to a rich luster. Underneath it is clear this vehicle has been
completely disassembled, cleaned and detailed. This all is
documented in a portfolio that accompanies the truck. Since
restored there has only been 8000 miles but on the truck. The
intimidating lowered stance is accomplished with lowered springs
that dampens the road through gas shocks. The front suspension
features a HD stabilizer, power disc brakes and fully restored with
all new bushings. Brake lines are new throughout the brake system,
with fully serviced drum brakes out back. The simple but effective
suspension handles like it is on rails rolling on BF Goodrich
Radial T/A tires mounted on polished aluminum American Racing 15 x
8 rims. Under the hood power comes from a Chevrolet 454 and is
transferred through a GM 700R4 overdrive transmission. Other
features include and Edelbrock Performer carburetor, Chevrolet Bow
Tie aluminum dual plane intake and electronic ignition. This beast
of a powerplant roars through high flow headers into custom bent
dual exhaust with chrome tips. The interior features subtle and
tasteful upgrades with tan high back bucket seats, matching center
console, custom fabric door panels, matching dashboard and Grant GT
wood steering wheel. Dig out your favorite mix tape from back in
the day and blast the tunes in the vintage Pioneer AM/FM Cassette
tuner. The gauges are all pure Chevrolet with the addition of an
Auto Meter Street Tach artfully mounted in the dash. Please call if
you are interested in the vehicle or send us an email if you have
specific questions.
