(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 1970 C10 on a

all of this vehicles information. To see all the photos, as well as

website: GKM dot com) This 1954 Ford F-100 is just another example
of some of the outstanding resto-mod trucks Garage Kept Motors has
in stock. The mid-50's F-100's in factory form already have a
muscular look to them. That visual no doubt resonated with new
truck buyers in the 1950's providing them with the image this truck
was built Ford tough and could complete any job they were seeking
to do with it. Fast forward to the present and these trucks still
maintain a presence of strength that is ageless. It stands to
reason when modified these trucks look like steroid enhanced
superheroes of the street. This particular 1954 Ford F-100 exudes
performance just sitting still. The dropped front axle and slight
rear lift out back gives one the impression this truck is ready to
leap into action defending the streets from the Chevy's and Mopars.
The older silver metallic paint job was well applied and still
shines with a deep luster and has overall aged well. The grille has
been painted body color and all the body emblems aside from the
front hood emblem have been removed giving the body a smooth subtle
custom look. The truck bed has custom wood floor and
stainless-steel bed strips. The floorboards and underbody are free
from rust through indicating this project started on a clean canvas
with a straight rust-free frame. The stock suspension is upgraded
with lowered front springs, power steering and front power disc
brakes upfront. This combination all rolls on Cooper Cobra Radial
tires mounted on 15 Ultra Motorsports 062 series aluminum rims.
Under the hood, as should be, is a Ford powerplant. Specifically, a
302ci V8 that has been bored and stroked to 347 cid. The powerplant
features Holley double-pumper carburetor and is adorned with Ford
Racing valve covers and air cleaner that will look spectacular with
th hood opened at the local cruise in or car show. This hot
combination stays cool with an aluminum radiator and electric fan.
The exhaust is throaty as it flows through custom headers into 2.5
pipes into Flowmaster style mufflers that dump in front the rear
differential. All this power is shifted through a Ford AOD
transmission. The gray interior features a fully carpeted interior,
with color matching custom headliner and modern GM bucket seats. No
matter your size you will fit easily in the cabin with fully
adjustable seats and tilt steering wheel. The engine vitals are
monitored by Dolphin gauges mounted in a custom aluminum billet
dash. The music flows through a Pioneer AM/FM/CD with aux input and
4-way matching speaker system. This truck is ready to hit the
streets or cruise into your local show. Please call if you are
interested in the vehicle or send us an email if you have specific
questions.
