We have a first-generation 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car Replica
convertible we here at Skyway Classics that looks as it did when it
was new in 1969 and has only 66500k miles on it.
In 1969, the Chevrolet Camaro was chosen as the Official Pace Car
for the 1969 running of the Indianapolis 500 and as the Official
Car of the '500' Festival. This was a repeat performance for Camaro
since it had also been chosen as the 1967 Pace Car.
The 1969 Pace Car Replicas were designed to be visible and they
were being Dover White RS/SS convertibles with Hugger Orange Z28
style stripes and orange houndstooth seats.
All were equipped with the recently released fresh air cowl hood
and were RS/SS convertibles with white tops ordered under RPO
Z11.

engine, a 1969 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet engine looking
great and sitting in the clean and detailed engine compartment.
The engine block, intake manifold, and heads are painted in the
correct Chevrolet factory orange paint with a four-barrel carb,
factory cast iron exhaust headers, power steering and brakes, and
is backed by a Turbo Hydro 3-speed automatic transmission.
It rolls on BF Goodrich Radial TA tires and the factory Rallye
wheels with chrome trim rings and caps.
Interior
Our Indy Camaro has the only interior color the Pace Car Camaros
had, the bright orange houndstooth cloth and vinyl front bucket
seats and the matching rear seat and door panels, wood steering
wheel, great factory dash with all the correct gauges including the
factory 120 mph speedometer, Center Console with horseshoe
automatic shifter and Tic-Toc gauge cluster, wood grain trim, radio
with speakers, and all of it looks as new.
Exterior
The paint and decals on our 69 is the correct Dover White paint on
the exterior like it came with from the factory as a Indy 500 Pace
Car Replica as well as the orange Z28 hood and deck lid stripes,
orange D96 fender striping, and white rocker panels.
The required options with the Z11 package included the convertible
top, D80 spoilers, YA1 deluxe seatbelts, ZJ7 rally wheels, ZL2
special ducted hood, Z22 Rally Sport front end, Z27 Super Sport,
