Collectible Motor Car of Atlanta is pleased to offer this
super-rare 1963 Triumph TR3B. The "Triumph TR3B" is an unofficial
name given to the final version of the TR3. It was offered
concurrent with the TR4, which started production in 1961. The
"TR3B" was a special short-production run in response to dealer
concerns that the buying public might not welcome the TR4. This is
a rare and unique opportunity to acquire an original 41,000 mile
TR3B. This beautiful example was built July 10, 1962 and left for
Standard Triumph Motors of San Francisco California on August 8,
1962 aboard the Pretoria from King George Dock, Kingston Upon Hull,
England. It is equipped with Powder Blue finish, black interior
with white piping and a black top and tonneau cover. All still
original to the car! Additional optional equipment includes an
adjustable steering column, windscreen washer, heater, synchromesh
gearbox and an 86mm bore engine all still original to the car. It
is additionally fitted with a factory hardtop. This TR was a
California car until December of 2016 when it was relocated by its
new owner, a British car collector, to Vero Beach, FL, and now
resides in Georgia. When not in use, the 1963 Triumph TR3B Roadster
has been stored in a climate-controlled environment. Over the last
several years it has been enjoyed very little all the while being
meticulously serviced and maintained. At some point in its life, it
was treated to a fresh respray for reasons unknown. It continues to
perform and drive just as it was intended from Triumph. The car
comes complete with tons of documentation, service records, and
rare original literature. The 1963 Triumph TR3B offered here is not
for the bargain hunter, but intended as a terrific investment
opportunity. Inquire today.
