1970 Dodge Super Bee brought to you by Zoom Classic Cars is a
spin-off of the Dodge Coronet and was an aggressive styling take on
the normal muscle car format of its time. Announced as part of the
Scat Pack marketing program in 1968, the Dodge Super Bee matched
the Road Runner in almost every way when it came to power and
performance. The Super Bee was just a bit longer and heavier than
its Plymouth counterpart, but otherwise it featured nearly
identical squared-off styling, along with a range of intriguing air
intake hood designs that could be specified at ordering time. In
1969 a 440 cu in engine was added and with it came 390hp output.
The orgy of horsepower lasted just a single year, and although a
neutered version of the Road Runner continued for a handful of
years, the Super Bee was at the end of the road. In 1970 (it's
final year) the Super Bee's styling took a dramatic departure with
the installation of its iconic 'bumble bee wing' grille. The Super
Bee now has achieved "cult status" and is very desired by Mopar
muscle car aficionados. This example comes with the best of both
worlds. Presently the car is tagged for street use. That being
