Vehicle Description
A mean blackout style, and an even meaner 505ci big block under the
hood headline this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS tribute. And with a
nearly triple-black style, four-on-the-floor, and an iconic
houndstooth interior, you know this is this aggressive coupe has
everything you really want
The dark paint gives this one attitude, but this Camaro does it
with more detail. It's a quality application from later in life,
and it continues to have good gloss for a car you will be proud to
drive. And we bet you will be showing this one off because the
panels are well aligned which also allows for doors to shut solid.
And the black vinyl roof adds a nice touch of premium without
taking away from the darkness. It's an overall crisp and clean car
with sharp-looking chrome. And it knows how to give you the right
Super Sport upgrades with the chin spoiler, a full-width rear
spoiler, and an upgraded cowl hood. Plus, all the darkness makes
the white D90 hockey stick stripe really stand out. There are also
competition-style American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that keep the
period-correct look but now have an 18-inch size to give a better
stance.
A really cool package to have in any powerful classic is triple
black. This one has the right fundamentals with the paint, vinyl
roof, and interior giving you the dark trio. But this coupe is a
bit more thoughtful with its presentation, and so you also get the
iconic houndstooth cloth inserts in the seats. And this hint of
white coordinates well with the exterior sport stripe. But as
distinct as this looks, the real purpose of the interior is to get
down to speedy business. So it has a driver-quality and
driver-ready style. You have the three-spoke sports steering wheel,
a tilt column, auxiliary gauges under the dash, and a Hurst
shifter.
The engine bay is stuffed with a motor that's larger than anything
Chevrolet ever offered in the Camaro. This is a 454 cubic-inch V8.
We're told this big block was enlarged to 505ci total, and it has
the right stout upgrades to suggest plenty invested in giving It
more muscle. So this is enhanced with Brodix aluminum heads, Brodix
cast valve covers, a high-rise intake, and topped with a Quick fuel
four-barrel carburetor. There are also the right supporting
components, like an MSD ignition, Accel super coil, and a BeCool
aluminum radiator. Plus, Hooker headers feed into dual exhaust with
plenty of power and rumble. You fully harness this power thanks to
the control of the four-speed manual transmission. This is the kind
of coupe that wants you to feel the road, but it also does it
confidently. That's why you have a 12-bolt rear end, subframe
connectors, front disc brakes, and modern sports tires.
An enhanced power package like this wrapped around mean-looking
iconic sheet metal is a rarity, so don't let it slip away. Call
