Vehicle Description
With only a few years in production, LT1 Corvette power, and a cool
full-size appearance we hadn't seen since the muscle car era, we
all knew cars like this 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS would be classics.
And with the low miles and stunning factory paint on this preserved
example, it has been cherished correctly for over a
quarter-century.
This Impala SS came from someone who loved this sedan. That's why
the factory black paint has a piano-like luster. It's even more
impressive considering it shows all the right signs of being the
factory application. That's part of the upper-level care you get on
a sedan that has traveled less than 1,500 miles annually. All the
right pieces are neatly preserved, including the color-matched
bumpers, rear spoiler, and bright 17-inch wheels. But this one also
has a touch of uniqueness with upgrades that you wished Chevy did
from the factory. For example, the bow tie emblem up front was
changed to a classic SS piece - just like the best Super Sports
from the muscle car era. The lowered suspension, red brake
calipers, and classic racing flag emblems are all part of a speedy
look that does a great job of connecting this modern classic with
its lineage.
Front bucket seats, a center console, and a Corvette-like digital
gauge package do a great job of upgrading the interior of the
Impala SS into the performance car world. And the way all the
leather still feels so supple and smooth is another reminder of the
car's pampered life so far. It gives this a premium look backed up
by a loaded interior. Ice-cold air conditioning, cruise control,
power windows, power locks, power mirrors, dual airbags, and a
powerful AM/FM/CD stereo were all part of this upper-class
experience. And the included window sticker also shows this has
Preferred Equipment Group, which means desirable features like
keyless entry and power adjusting front seats. The Impala SS is one
of the final few performance vehicles that has room for all your
family and friends. The modifications done to fit the huge 24"
Forgiatos just adds to the value
The heart of this Impala's appeal is the 350 cubic-inch
fuel-injected LT1 V8 shared with the C4 Corvette. This one even
likes to display that connect with the addition of Corvette covers
over the intake (the stock piece comes with the sale, too.) Other
than the closer Corvette connection, this believed original motor
looks exceptionally stock. These are great all-around cruisers,
because the powerful V8 starts easily, idles nicely, and has the
kind of subtle exhaust note that makes it welcome in the ficklest
of neighborhoods. The four-speed automatic transmission is even
great for overdrive cruising. But prod the accelerator, and it
gives a quick kick-down into true Chevy muscle. Plus, the
suspension has been upgraded over the Caprice to handle the extra
power with ease. It comes with power steering, ABS, four-wheel disc
brakes, sway bars, upgraded shocks, and the Forgiato wheels give
this one a unique appearance.
Here's a great modern classic in the grand tradition of large
muscle cars. This kind of legacy is backed up by original
documentation such as the owner's manual and original window
sticker. It's a true collector's car presented in true collectible
condition. Call today!!!
