1968 PONTIAC GTO RUST FREE SOUTHERN CAR FACTORY A/C, P/S, P/B, P/W This 1968 Pontiac GTO looks exceptionally nice in its factory color, Mayfair Maize code Y. The paint is polished out to a glossy smooth finish. It has excellent fit and finish. The white vinyl top is in excellent condition. The front Endura bumper fits really well, no stress cracks or imperfections in it! This GTO is straight down both sides. The front grills are in excellent shape. All the stainless trim was either replaced or polished. The door handles, emblems and mirror look like new. The door jambs are painted nicely. All the door seals and weather stripping are new. In the rear the bumper has been rechromed and has new tail light lenses. It rides on a set of original 14x6 Rally II wheels with correct lugnuts, PMD center caps and beauty rings wrapped with a new set of BFG redline radial tires! The interior is very nice and appears to be original, with the exception of the carpet. The console is in great shape and retains its original Hurst Dual gate shifter. It has the original date coded front and rear seatbelts. The instrument panel looks good. It has the optional Rally gauges and working clock and AM/FM radio. This GTO also has power windows. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with its completely rebuilt number matching 400 ci/350 hp engine. It has its factory manifolds and A/C that blows cold. There are factory style chrome valve covers, air cleaner lid, power steering and power brakes. Everything is very clean and correct. It has a nice satin black finish. The undercarriage is all clean metal, no signs of repairs or patches. The front end suspension and steering were completely rebuilt. It has new upper and lower A-arm bushings, newer shocks and springs. It has a custom 2.5" Dynomax stainless dual exhaust system with the correct trumpet exhaust tips running out the back. This GTO also has front disc brakes. Looking up the motor and transmission are clean. The E-brake cables are hooked up and working. This is one clean undercarriage. The trunk is nicely detailed with a coat of splatter paint. Other features include a trunk mat, spare tire, factory jack assembly with lug wrench. This GTO has a lot of desirable features. It is a very clean and unabused Southern car.
