This Factory Five Mk III was originally purchased by a guy in NC who spent years planning for the build. Unfortunately he passed away before getting started on the build. In 2016, The family sold the kit to a gentleman in Colorado who had built several Cobra Replicas in addition to quite a few high end custom hot rods. The build was completed in 2019 and as you will see it is an eye-catching, jaw dropping,  ground pounding Cobra that truly stands out in the crowd.

Finished in a gorgeous Lamborghini color called Arancia Metallic , this Orange beauty glistens in the sunlight. The paint job is near flawless and body was prepped professionally and body panel fit is outstanding.  It has the dual chrome hoop roll bars, front bumper extensions and full rear bumper with extensions. Accenting the glistening Orange metallic is a pair of Graphite Gray racing stripe decals that were done to exact specs and sizes. Other than a few tiny rock chips that have been touched up the paint and body are near flawless.

This Cobra has the upgraded leather interior with full door panels and leather dash. Simpson Racing Harnesses for driver and passenger. Leather wrapped Factory Five Steering wheel. Awesome set of Autometer gauges with correct reverse sweep Speedometer. VDO temp gauge. Inside the glove box is a Vintage Heat unit for those of you living in the colder climates who want to do some fun fall weather driving. Interior is in fantastic condition!

Lets face it, these Cobras are eye catchers but not all of them have the drive train to match. This one does for sure and make sure you watch the video to hear it start up and running.  This was not a donor car build which means the drive train was all brand new at the time of the build.  The power plant in this one is a 347 Stroker putting out 405 hp. It Is a roller motor and has forged pistons and crank, aluminum heads, ceramic headers and side pipes. Power is transferred through the Tremec 5-speed transmission and back to the 8.8 Ford rear end with 3.73 Posi-trac. Coil overs with Koni shocks at all 4 corners and 4 wheel disc brakes. The Power Rack and Pinion steering is a great option on this one.  Motor was build by McCabe Motor Sports in Colorado and is a top notch, professional build. Halibrand style knock off wheels were powder coated in graphite gray to match the stripes are staggered 15x8 up front and 15x10 out back wrapped in Cooper Cobra GT radials with tons of trad life left.  Just 3400 miles on this build and it will set you back in your seat and leave you smiling for days after an exhilarating drive. Titled as a 1965 Cobra.

This Cobra is available for bids on Bring a Trailer Auction for 7 days and ends on May 21 at 2:30 Eastern Time. Go to this link to see all of the pics videos and get your bids in:
