Here we have a super nice 1966 Chevelle Super Sport L78 396/375 HP. with a number matching engine this car only has 30,000 actual miles documented from 14,256 miles this car in its early life was drag raced in Indianapolis so did not get many miles put on it at a Quarter mile at a time. This car was sold new at Hare Chevrolet in Noblesville In. Hare Chevrolet is the oldest Chevrolet Dealer in In. & is still doing business.
The car was always Garaged so it has no rust & still retains its original sheet metal floor pans & trunk pan the car went through a total restoration in the late 90's & was just freshened up including the engine in the last 6 months after being purchased from the third owner which owned it for the last 24 years. The car has a rare number matching color Chateau slate W Code with a black vinyl top this car is heater delete & radio delete no power steering but has the simulated wood steering wheel no power brakes factory special instrumentation & knee knocker tachometer, The car came with a M-20 Muncie transmission but in its early days there was a M-22 Muncie installed for racing, also it doesn't retain the correct 12 bolt rear end the original was destroyed when racing but it is a 12 bolt Poss. with 456 gears out of a 68 Chevelle.

body lines, original glass the chrome stainless trim & it is very very straight. Runs & drives great everything works
There is one small scratch on the left Quarter panel it is the only one I know of.
