The Chevelle has always been a fixture in Chevrolet's muscle car
line-up. Demand for these great muscle cars has always been high
and it is easy to see why. This 1971 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle
clone is a nice driver quality example of these great muscle cars.
Powering this Chevelle is a 350 cubic inch, Chevy, small-block V8
that runs well. Transferring power to the 12-bolt rear-end is the
Chevelle's Turbohydramatic 350, 3-speed automatic transmission that
performs just as it should. This Chevelle delivers that great
rumbling, V8 sound thanks to the small-block 350 breathing through
true dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The Blue metallic
exterior shines very nice with the exception of a few paint chips
and some age cracks on the trunk lid. The body of this Chevelle is
very solid with only minor bubbling in the paint at the rear of the
front fenders and rear quarters. The exterior is complimented
nicely by a set of Black painted racing stripes, its excellent
Black vinyl top, and a set of chrome American Racing Torq-Thrust
wheels. The Black interior benefits from some restoration and is in
very good shape. The leather, Procar bucket seats are in excellent
condition with no tears or cracks in the leather. This Chevelle
clone is nicely optioned with features such as: power steering,
power brakes, air conditioning, aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo, Lokar
floor shifter, and variable speed wipers. If you are looking for a
great driver quality 1971 Malibu/Chevelle that is turn-key ready to
cruise to your local cruise-in, you will want to take a good look
at this one.
