Here we have a 1978 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4 for sale. This
Silverado has been very well cared for over the years and sports
mostly original paint. It's a factory 4X4 short bed truck that was
ordered with the 400 V8. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a
brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this
Chevrolet but first we would like to tell you a little about
us.

We will start off with the exterior of this Silverado. The body on
it is in great condition with excellent fit of all the panels. The
body lines flow together near perfectly and all the trim lines up
beautifully. It's covered in the factory Cordova Brown paint that
looks to be mostly all original. We can see it still has a
beautiful finish while showing little signs of age. It's accented
by the side molding along with bed rail molding. Inside the bed is
in great condition with only some small rust showing at the back of
the bed floor. The tail gate is all solid and in great condition
along with opening and closing with ease. Both the front and rear
bumpers are very nice as well, and we can see that the grill has
been very well cared for. To finish off the look it's sitting on
the factory Rally Wheels with a new set of Cooper Discovered AT3
Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this 4X4. On the inside it's
done in the factory brown color scheme that looks to be mostly all
original. The door panels are in great condition with minimal wear
and look all original with exception of the speakers that were
added. It comes with the bench seat that has been redone at some
point and is very nice from the cover to the padding. This '78
Comes with tilt wheel and factory style bowtie steering wheel. The
dash pad looks to be original as well and does have some small
cracks from over the years. All the gauges are in great condition
and are working as they should. Inside the glove box it has the
factory sticker. The carpet in this truck is in very nice and has a
great fit.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the
hood it's powered by the 350 V8 engine that replaced the 400V8 at
some point in its' life. The 350 V8 is set up with the GM Intake
and Four Barrel Quadrajet Carburetor. It's dressed with the factory
style air cleaner and valve covers. For exhaust it has manifolds
with dual pipes and FlowMaster style mufflers. This '78 comes with
Power Steering along with Power Brakes that feature Disc up front
and Drums out back. The 350 is mated to the 350 Automatic Trans
that runs through the Transfer Case and has the 12 Bolt Rear End.
When we look under this truck it's clearly been very well cared for
as it's all rock solid from the cab corners to the floor pans. All
the frame is solid as well along with all the body bushings being
in very nice condition. Under the front and all the steering looks
great and it handles with ease on the highway. It has plenty of
power and provides a great ride. Don't miss out on this classic
