1974 The Volkswagen Thing (the registration says 1974 but it's
clearly a 1973 body style) with the odometer showing 25,221 miles,
condition overall is good . . . THE CAR PRESENTS VERY WELL but it's
not perfect, the paint is ok (car was originally orange) lots of
touch up (brush & spray) has a radio antenna, but no radio I don't
have much history of this particular car; all I know is it was
purchased in Florida a few years ago, there are some patches in the
floor where there was must have been rust, the gas tank / fuel pump
looks new, the spare is missing, the top is okay and it works, I
purchased a boot cover for it which cleans it up nicely, windows
are ok, seats look okay (one bit of tape on one of them), gas gauge
not functioning, accelerator pedal pad seems to be missing but in
researching it could be a dune buggy wheel. I have a traditional
pedal I purchased but haven't installed it. Keep in mind this car
looks a bit better in the photos than it ps and touch up paint,
spray paint and it's almost 50 years old. Please Note The Following
