Vehicle Description
This 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 starts with a beautiful and loaded
low-mileage speed machine. But it doesn't take long to see that
there have been all the right investments in power and style. So
look over the full package - from the pristine two-tone interior to
the professionally-built 590 horsepower motor that proves this
modern classic has an added dose of irresistible individual
flair.
The Z06 was built with a track-ready focus, and so when the factory
offers a color called Victory Red, you know it was made for this
car. This example continues to look fantastic today. It's not just
because the car has only averaged about 675 miles annually, but
we're also told this has been given a ceramic coating to lock in
the hard shine. And this car is much more than just stunning
race-ready paint. The Z06's array of scoops and spoilers controls
the air as it flows over the car and feeds it to coolers and brakes
for serious track use. And those special 19-inch polished alloys
may look nice, but their full purpose is to help keep the big brake
package cool. Of course, some pieces don't make this go faster,
like the upgraded hint of a dark side on the tinted windows, tail
lights, and turn signals... but they sure do give this contender
the added flair it deserves.
The premium 3LZ package creates an inviting interior that continues
the car's distinction. The black goes well with the exterior dark
pieces, and the linen tan offers a bright way to offer a timelessly
tasteful contrast. It was an option that was well worth the money
but was only ordered on about 670 Z06s this year. You have
desirable modern luxuries such as dual-zone climate control, power
windows, power locks, keyless entry & ignition, cruise control, and
an AM/FM/CD/XM infotainment display with Bose speakers and sat nav.
A modern classic also means modern safety features such as dual
front airbags, side airbags, and ABS. The supple leather bucket
seats are heated, and yours even power adjusts to the ideal
position. The driver also gets full Z06 branded instrumentation
with backlit dials, a grippy leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a
handy heads-up display.
The motor is at the heart of what makes the Z06 so special, and in
this case, there was over $20k invested in making sure this one is
a true original. It was given to Vengeance Racing in November 2020,
and the 7.0-liter LS7 motor was enhanced and fortified. It includes
a Vengeance Racing Sumbitch camshaft, hardened pushrods, upgraded
lifters, Vengeance Racing valve springs, a CHE trunnion kit,
Vengeance Racing CNC ported cylinder heads, a C5R timing chain, a
Halltech Systems cold air intake, a Nick Williams LS 103mm throttle
body, a ported MSD Airforce intake, and Kooks headers feeding the
X-pipe dual exhaust. We have the dyno sheet from Vengeance that
shows this is a 590-horsepower beast. And the multi-mode exhaust is
there so that you have the option to really announce this car's
power superiority when you want to. Despite the track-ready power,
the consignor states that this has never been raced, and the
approximately 2,300 miles this has gone since the big motor
investment was mainly to show it off at events. The Z06 was built
to handle big power like this, but this also makes sure you have
the best in control. So the six-speed transmission was given a
Monster triple disk clutch and MGW short-throw shifter. Massive
drilled four-wheel disc brakes, adaptive power steering, Toyo
Proxes R888R tires, and an adaptive fully independent suspension
make this a truly awesome sports car.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and dyno sheet. This is
the perfect balance of low mileage collectible and individually
upgraded supercar. Don't miss this awesome Z06, call today!
