Vehicle Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback has desirable upgrades like an
upgraded V8, power windows, and four-wheel disc brakes... but none
of that is what first caught your eye. Instead, it's the extra
sleek custom car style that gives you the look of an icon while
also being truly individual.
The '65 fastback is always in demand for its rarity, but this one
takes it to a whole new level. It's a show car kind of custom style
with its mix of slick and speedy. It's not just that they deleted
most of the badging and trim, but even the door handles were shaved
for a truly distinct presentation. And this extra sleekness really
comes together in the rear where it's a complete fiberglass setup
that built in some Coke bottle curves and expertly integrates a
rear spoiler for one of the coolest individual styles around. But
while you think this sleekness is cheating the wind the ghost
flames within the vibrant Sunrise Red Pearl paint lets you know
it's channeling something hotter. 17-inch Body Coddington wheels,
custom taillights, a custom gas cap, and wide dual exhaust tips are
all part of this upgraded style. But as custom as this car is, it
also makes sure to pay tribute to its heritage. The air intake
front bumper, hood scoop, hood pins, and large side scoops all look
inspired by performance pony cars like the Shelby GT350R.
The black interior shows a solid investment in the fundamentals
with a good look on the carpet, upholstery, dash, and headliner.
Even the courtesy light package is working. But just like the
exterior, your eyes gravitate towards the custom style. And while
this one has the kind of look that has stepped out of SEMA or World
of Wheels, the overall impression is also that it's a real driver.
That's also why you have handy features like power windows, an
armrest center console, cup holders, and provisions for an upgraded
stereo. Those upgraded high-back front bucket seats are terrific at
delivering a far more comfortable driver's experience. And you're
also upgraded with white-faced gauges to coordinate with the added
SunPro auxiliary readouts and tach. So you know it's a real
driver.
The engine bay shows off much more of this car's thoughtfully
custom style. The Sunrise Red shows off plenty of its metallic
element as the smooth inner walls have a sleekness just like the
exterior. A polished shock tower brace, added chrome Monte Carlo
bar, and color-matched Mickey Thompson valve covers are just a
small part of how this one announces it's a thoughtful build. At
the heart of it is a 302 cubic-inch V8 that is stated to be
upgraded to a 331ci stroker motor. It has also been upgraded with a
Demon four-barrel carburetor, an HEI distributor, and headers
feeding the dual exhaust. This is a strong-runner that reinforces
the cruiser style. And what also makes it a solid driver are
features like a three-speed automatic transmission, subframe
connectors, modern ZR-rated tires, and four-wheel power disc
brakes.
What we like about this one is that it has the right look for a
true custom with a touch of show car pizzaz. So you've got a cool
cruiser with a proper V8 heart. Plus, it's a terrific base if you
want to unleash serious power and/or build your retromod dreams. So
when you want to be iconic, unique, and all out-awesome, you know
this fastback is a ton of fun. Call today!!!
