A shining silver 1971 Chevrolet Camaro with a strong small block
and a comfy interior is instantly alluring. And this example also
has the right speedy details to be a terrific Z/28 tribute.
We love the early 2nd gen Camaros because there is an intricate
style that also has a purity in the lines. For example, the
headlights boldly stick out from the body, and at the same time,
they are the starting point for many of the crisp sheet metal
creases. And the slope of the rear practically can define the term
"fastback." Plus, that bright chrome front bumper looks like it
wants to pierce through the traffic ahead. But the most aggressive
part of the car is all the Z/28-level upgrades. This includes the
cowl hood, Rally wheels, and three-piece rear spoiler. And these
speedy upgrades were done with care. That's why they took the time
to paint the black racing stripes on top of the attractive metallic
silver base.
The black stripes get you ready for the full black interior. The
bucket seats are a later upgrade which has nice bolstering and a
supple feel. The carpet, headliner, dash pad, and door panels all
have the dark and clean look of a solid investment. It's a nice
place to spend some time, right down to the details, like the
working dome light and upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input. And
because a Camaro is a classic that's made to be driven, you also
have nice updates like the auxiliary gauge trio and wood-rimmed
sports steering wheel.
The dark and tidy inner walls of the engine bay show off the
brightly polished motor in the middle. It makes for a presentation
that looks like the exterior's color theme was continued under the
hood, and that makes for added appeal to this sharp-looking
classic. But more than just style, this one has substance. It's a
350 cubic-inch crate motor built with a four-bolt main, and we're
told there's only about 4k miles on this powertrain. It has
upgrades like aluminum heads, a Summit Racing four-barrel
carburetor, a Holley heat shield, an Edelbrock Performer intake,
and headers feeding into the dual exhaust. This even has a mild cam
for a nice powerband and a terrific rumble. There's even an
aluminum radiator to help keep the full package running cool. Plus,
with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power
brakes with discs up front, and wide BF Goodrich rubber, this makes
for an all-around great package.
This is the sleek silver Z/28 tribute with the style, power, and
rumble you really want. Don't miss this deal. Call now!
