Mechanical
Our 36 doesn't have the tired old factory original engine and 3 on
the tree tranny as it now is powered by a Small Block V8 Modified
Engine with a performance polished intake, performance carb, chrome
Edelbrock Air Cleaner, chrome valve covers, tube headers, dual
exhaust, 3-Speed automatic transmission, custom aluminum radiator,
Power steering, Power brakes, a chrome Air Conditioning Unit,
Modified Distributor and electronics, and performance spark plug
wires and looms.
It rides on custom 5-spoke polished mag wheels with black sidewall
performance tires and mechanically it drives as nice as it
looks.
The engine has plenty of power and puts out a great sound through
tube headers and a dual exhaust tips and is well behaved in
traffic, smooth on the highway.
Interior
The interior continues this cool custom effect to offset the
exterior colors with the theme of white and grey. It starts with a
full custom white/grey full bench seat with matching custom door
panels to give the build a beautiful matching look inside and
out.
You have plenty of luxury features in this updated classic like
grey carpet and custom floor mats, custom billet steering wheel on
a chrome tilt column, a full set of performance white-faced gauges
in the billet dash, floor shifter, stereo radio system, air
conditioning, and even the trunk has been custom upholstered to
match the interior.
Exterior
Let's start with the body on our coupe painted the full custom
purple with blue and silver mural type graphics that starts at the
hoods and runs the full-length until it curves over the fenders to
the trunk.
This paint is superb and really draws attention to this car as it
goes down the road or just sitting still and this one has a ton
more great custom details like the fabulous curves of the fenders,
rubber-covered running boards, shaved door handles, the grill that
is one of the most sought after looks, just like the body, and
overall design of the '36 Deluxe are all about a very smooth
looking custom.
