1947 Ford Convertible Street Rod finished in Anthracite Gray
Metallic (basecoat/clearcoat) Acura color paint. This is a custom
frame-off build with a solid steel starter car and a 2" chop. This
car is powered by the LT1 V8 under the hood that is paired with a
4L60 automatic transmission with overdrive. Nicely equipped with a
Ford 8" rear end, front disc brakes, Fatman power rack and pinion
steering, power brakes, Posse rear leaf springs, front and rear
sway bars, Brassworks radiator, Tanks polyglass tank, electric fan,
Arch pulley and bracket polished system, Painless wiring, VDO
gauges, power windows, and Vintage Air A/C. A/C BLOWS COLD! Chrome
and brightwork on this car in good shape and shows well overall.
Headlights and front marker lights have both been frenched in. This
will also have a full list of all things done to this build in the
still pictures. Riding on the budnik wheels. Stone colored
ultraleather bucket seat interior with custom center console, tilt
column, Budnik steering wheel, squareweave carpeting, and automatic
on the column. Wiper controls and power hood vent controls are both
located under the dash. Door handles have been shaved and door
poppers have been installed and are actuated with the included key
fobs. Hartz black cloth convertible top with glass rear window.
This car has 11,755 miles since built, which was about 10 years ago
of this writing. Gauges are all in working order! There is a door
popper under the dash that will also open the glove box door. There
is also a pull loop for the hood by the driver's side front marker
light. Alpine amp has been installed in the trunk as well with
custom 6 disc CD changer. Nice sounding Ford!
