Green machine! Debuting in 1995, the Chevrolet Tahoe debuted as a
2-door, 4x4 only model. Going on to win Motor Trends 1996 truck of
the year, it would quickly become a household name. This Tahoe is a
beautifully preserved time capsule. Finished in a beautiful green,
this Tahoe exemplifies everything right about the 90s sport truck
movement. With tough, squared off body lines and an aggressive 4x4
stance punctuated by its short wheelbase this truck is sure to
stand out at any Radwood event. Minimally updated, this truck sits
almost entirely as it did in 1996. Some updated light fixtures up
front bring a touch of modernity. Black over-fender flares hint at
the platforms off-road chops, as do the Toyo Open Country tires.
The 50/50 splat rear tailgate makes loading and unloading a breeze.
Anything that won't fit in the spacious interior can be placed on
the roof mounted cargo rails. Large windows surround the cabin, and
the rear-side, and back windows feature a dark tint for additional
privacy. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim
finishes, please be sure to view the close-up photographs of the
car in the accompanying gallery.) On the inside, the optional
bucket seats are split by a center console that was intended to be
used as a workstation. Center console also includes a coin
organizer and CD case storage. On the dash you will find an
aftermarket CD player, push button 4-wheel drive selectors.
Additional cup holders are located in front of the front passenger
on the dash, and overhead there is additional storage in the
overhead center console. The large, comfortable rear bench seat
folds nearly flat for all your cargo needs. (To best assess the
quality of the paint and trim finishes, please be sure to view the
close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) Open
the hood to find GM's tried and true 5.7 liter Vortec V-8. With 250
horsepower and an ample 335lb-ft of torque this truck is not
lacking for power. Nestled behind the engine and transmission is a
4-wheel drive transfer case that features shift on the fly
capability. A true dual exhaust system exits though chrome tips and
disc brakes at all 4 corners help bring this beast to a stop. While
the more than 175 high-definition photographs and the short
walk-around-and-startup video available on the GarageKeptMotors
