For Sale: 1970 Chevrolet C10 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

How do you take an ace Chevy and make it even more appealing? You start with a list of choice upgrades, finance an exceptional restoration and top everything off with a 6.2 liters of supercharged Corvette power! When it comes to performance, durability and sheer popularity, nothing beats a Golden Era Chevrolet. And, thanks to their simplicity and heavy duty hardware, classics like the Chevrolet C10 are ideal foundations for killer customs with monstrous swagger. This trick truck is the literal embodiment of American Muscle. Upgrades like custom upholstery and a modern automatic transmission make it perfect for unforgettable driving experiences, while timeless lines, an exceptional stance and miles of rich two-stage are sure to create curb appeal. Looking for a 'just right' classic that's road ready, show-ready and just plain battle-ready? This fully-sorted Chevy has it all!

THE C10 SUPER CUSTOM The product of a meticulous restoration that mixed big time with big money, this super cool C10 is clean, classy and ready to roll! Naturally, the build was a ground-up affair that included world class metalwork. And that slick black two-stage you're busy admiring was carefully sprayed, thoroughly buffed and lovingly protected with some of the best ceramic on the planet. At the front of all that dialed in dash, a 1971 grille hangs a brilliant blue bowtie between a 1971 bumper, LED parking lamps and classy Grote sealed beam LED headlights. Above that grille, a domed hood fronts a tinted greenhouse, which rolls traditional, two-piece side glass behind bright CST window trim and polished stainless wipers. At the sides of that glass, a smooth profile centers polished mirrors, polished handles and clear marker lamps on attractive LT4 scripts and 1971-spec Cheyenne Super badging. And at the back of that profile, a second polished bumper joins a dressed tailgate to seal a lined bed between bright LED taillights.

SPEAKING OF SUPER

Not surprisingly, this Chevy's engine makes an art of combining exclusive yet universal appeal with reliable yet world-beating performance. Under the all-steel hood you'll find GM's latest and greatest LT4: a supercharged, all-aluminum marvel that twists stout 10 to 1 compression into 650 horsepower and 650 lb./ft. of tire-shredding torque! Sourced directly from a seventh-generation Corvette Z06, the brutal small block utilizes a 1.7 liter Eaton TVS blower, forged powder metal rods and forged aluminum pistons to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. And that's before you factor in the mean mill's aftermarket pulley upgrade! A perfect amount of oxygen flows from a remote filter element through a proven GM throttle body. That air meets fuel under Rotocast aluminum cylinder heads, which are built with lightweight titanium valves. When those heads open, spent gases float through big Ultimate Headers, which roar through custom, large-diameter exhaust. A quality Drive Junky serpentine system keeps everything smooth. There's a beefy AutoRad radiator that's paired with a billet reservoir and electric Maradyne puller fans. Detonation is controlled by Snow Performance Methanol Injection, which makes excellent use of choice Nitrous Express parts. Good communication is facilitated by a high quality Speartech harness. And the truck's clean, Satin Black engine bay is detailed with items like a Wilwood master cylinder, PSC steering components and billet Eddie Motorsports hood supports.

NOT STOCK

Naturally, the bottom of this first class C10 has been thoughtfully reworked to enhance both style and performance. Behind the rockin' LT4, a modern 8L90E 8-speed, a Chevrolet Performance kit purchased new from Summit Racing Equipment, twists torque to a narrowed Moser 12-bolt that's finished with easy, 3.08 gears. Modern power rack-and-pinion steering leads a Mustang II-style front clip that's decked with a big sway bar, tubular control arms, Hyperco springs and RideTech shocks. That clip guides tubular RideTech truck arms, which tilt double-adjustable Viking coil-overs in front of a beefy Panhard Bar. Quick stops come courtesy of four power-assisted calipers. The aforementioned headers feed stainless pipes, which bark through an H-shape crossover and rowdy MagnaFlow mufflers. Dual batteries border a stainless Rick's fuel tank that, along with a meth injection tank, is accessed through the truck's bed. And power meets the pavement through polished Budnik E85s, which spin 245/40ZR20 Pirelli P Zeros in front of 325/35R20 Pirelli P Zeros.

TIMELESS COMFORT IN TIMELESS STYLE

Swivel the doors and you'll reveal a tastefully customized cockpit that's classy in all the right ways. Tight TMI upholstery dresses a broad bench seat to match sculpted, billet-trimmed side panels, a microfiber headliner and microfiber kick panels. In front of those thrones, a leather-trimmed dash hangs Dakota Digital VHX telemetry next to pushbutton ignition and controls for Vintage Air conditioning. Fade-free carpet floats retro 'Heartbeat' floor mats between billet foot pedals, polished sills and a custom console that's centered on a muted B&M ratchet shifter. A polished Budnik steering wheel adds a pop of color atop a tilting Ididit column that's finished with modern Cruise Control. And a sophisticated Alpine head unit uses quality American Autowire wiring to bump crisp kick speakers, clever JL Audio tweeters and an 8-inch subwoofer.
