Vehicle Description
The fourth generation of the Continental by Lincoln would be built
from 1961 through 1969 and would undergo several styling changes.
Lincolns main competitor was Cadillac and they were constantly
fighting to be Americas number One luxury brand. One of the big
changes that happened for the 1966-1969 Continentals would be the
design of the two-door pillarless coupe. This car is finished in
Aspen Green Metallic over Green enterior.....Yes, Green for days!
This rare coupe has the desirable 460 cubic inch V8 over the older
462 which was phased out in 1968. This car is believed to be all
original and showing what we believe to be an accurate 36,000 mile
car from new. The paint is still in wonderful condition showing a
few minor blemishes, something you would see with paint that age.
The interior on this car is like new as is the chrome and bright
work. This Continental also has smoked glass from the factory and
is a nice touch. This has come out of long term ownership and is
believed to be a three owner vehicle. Originally coming out of PA
and ending up in MI sometime ago. This car appears to always have
had good storage. These were tremendously stately and expensive
cars for the day and still command a presence going down the
road.
