Chevelle, and the '68 is truly an icon. Sitting on a nearly perfect
stance this beautiful blue Chevelle is ready for street or strip
duty. Coming off a fresh redesign in 1968 the Chevelle adopted a
new long hood, short deck design philosophy. Available with a
variety of V-8 engines ranging from pedestrian to extreme Chevrolet
made sure that there was a flavor for everybody. (To best assess
the quality of the paint and trim finishes, please be sure to view
the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.)
Painted in a beautiful metallic blue with black accent stripes this
Chevelle is a real head turner. Wonderful chrome bumpers and trim
shine like new. Up front you will find an egg crate grille with no
bent or broken bars. Chrome rallye wheels shod in Cooper Cobra
radial tires set this Chevelle up with a perfect stance. (To best
assess the quality of the paint and trim finishes, please be sure
to view the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying
gallery.) Inside you will find updated, well bolstered bucket seats
up front, with the original black vinyl bench in the back. A more
modern 5-speed transmission is topped with a classic Hurst shifter.
Aftermarket Grant steering wheel sits in front of a large Autometer
tachometer. More auxiliary gauges sit on the A-pillar. Black carpet
and headliner complete the all-black interior. Under the hood is
where every muscle car shines. This blue bombshell features a 454
cubic inch big block V-8. Backed by a 5-speed transmission you will
be right at home whether its cruising on the freeway or dropping
the hammer at the drag strip. An MSD ignition keeps things modern.
Slick headers feed into dual exhausts that exit just before the
rear axle. While the more than 175 high-definition photographs and
the short walk-around-and-startup video available on the
GarageKeptMotors website showcase this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle in
detail from every angle, including from below, we expect and
encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan
showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in advance as our
