horsepower (a 90hp increase over the first versions) and a strong
400 foot-pounds of torque. The SSR is a retractable hardtop
roadster pickup, giving you the option of a coupe configuration or
open air motoring with the touch of a button. The engineering
behind this is impressive. It's quite a show when you put the top
down, and the process takes only 20 seconds. GM, ASC, and Karmann
USA combined resources in creating the body, which also features
deep draw stamping-formed front fenders for a classic truck look,
and a power-operated deck lid. It's finished in a tuxedo black
paint producing a striking effect next to the chrome aluminum
wheels. They are staggered sized with 19x8s in front and even
bigger 20x10s in the rear. This required special tires, so Goodyear
stepped up with 255/45R19 and 295/40R20 Eagles for the project.
Black leather seats are stunning and highlight a very comfortable
interior that's loaded with convenience features. Air conditioning,
cruise, tilt, power windows and locks, power seats, and Bose audio
are all here to add to your enjoyment. One more thing. GM Chairman
