For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet Camaro in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS tribute makes a distinctive first impression. But what really makes it irresistible is its full driver-ready attitude that includes a hot small block, four-on-the-floor, and cool air conditioning.

The bright yellow is an instant attention-getter. It's a few shades meaner than the Butternut that was available in 1968, and there are some fun custom details like the deleted badging and painted front bumper. The overall presentation is about being driver-quality and driver-ready. So it will need some investment to be a show winner, but for those of us who like to hit the road on a whim, this strikes the right tone. And we especially love the dark style against the yellow. Painted black racing stripes, a chin spoiler, and the RS front end (currently with manual headlight doors) are a well-coordinated contrast. It makes for a Bumblebee kind of appeal without people suggesting you're an imitator. After all, it has a truly classic appeal with proper Rally wheels, SS-style details, and an upgraded cowl hood.

The black accent of the exterior gets you ready for the full black interior. The door panels, dash pad, carpeting, headliner, and premium seating all look quite attractive. This has the right well-integrated upgrades for a true cruiser, including the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with cassette and cold-blowing Vintage Air air conditioning. And slipping behind the classic RS steering wheel means a good view of the large speedo and tach. Plus, the center console has both your auxiliary readouts and Hurst shifter.

The 350 cubic inch V8 looks terrific under the cowl hood. The tidy style means it's easy to see the upgrades like the Edelbrock. four-barrel carburetor, Holley aluminum intake, HEI distributor, and long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust. It fires up eagerly with a terrific tune, and the four-speed manual transmission puts you in full control of the power and rumble. Add in subframe connectors, power steering, power brakes, and front discs, and this bold coupe is easy to take everywhere.

It's time to enjoy your classic car experience to the fullest. It's time to get this V8, four-speed, A/C Camaro. Call now!
