Vehicle Description
No Reserve Classics is proud to present to you our 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro RS/SS RamJet 502 Pro-Touring Restomod!
Wider, Longer, Stronger, and Faster, the 1969 Camaro is one of the
most desirable Muscle Cars ever produced. This Camaro is featured
in Triple black, with a 502 Horsepower 502 cubic inch Fuel-Injected
Ramjet Motor and a Tremec 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Even the
interior brings you back in time with a classic Houndstooth Deluxe
interior, an upgraded Radio with a Full sound system at all four
corners, and even Air Conditioning and heating. The suspension has
also been upgraded with a full QA1 suspension and even power
steering for a more modern driving experience.
Iconic styling with a touch of class. The nose of this Camaro has
been upgraded to a Detriot Speed fully electronic RS SS Grille kit.
This kit allows the headlight doors to open smoothly so the
Restomodit high-performance LED headlight package can shine
through. The exterior paint has been finished off in a high gloss
deep black with correctly painted graphite rally stripes that flow
from the 2" steel cowl hood to the D80 rear spoiler. This is an
original vinyl top Camaro, that is trimmed out in chrome molding
that not only matches all of the wheel well molding but the
polished lip on the staggered US Mag 18x8" and 18x10" wheels that
have just been installed. They have been wrapped in Firestone
Firehawk Indy500 tires with a 225/40/18 up front and a massive
275/40/18 in the rear holding this Camaro down to the ground.
Taking a glimpse just beyond those wheels are the four-wheel power
disc brakes, stopping this Camaro just as quick as it accelerates.
As we turn to the rear you'll even get a glimpse of the correct RS
rear taillights and reverse lights!
Immediately after opening the hood, you will notice that iconic
Ramjet 502. 11" tall Fuel-injected intake manifold flexing atop a
502 cubic inch General Motors Power Plant. Not only is it super
cool, but it adds a significant amount of function to this big
block with a throttle response you have to experience to truly
believe. With the best of both worlds a big block 502 with a modern
reliability of fuel-injection system gives this Camaro 502
horsepower and a neck-snapping 565 lb. ft. of torque. While this
intake manifold may seem very high, it only sits about " taller
than a comparable carburated motor with none of the carburated
problems. Indeed, this has been taken a step further for modern
convenience with a Vintage Air Serpentine Kit that provides not
only Power Steering but Vintage Air conditioning and Heating as
well. Mated up to this RamJet is a Tremec 5-Speed Manual
transmission, with that 502 gobbling up all that power the Tremec
has made a name for itself as a reliable source to deliver that
type of power down to the ground. Not to mention a great chance to
stretch those gear down a long stretch of tarmac.
Opening the door on this Camaro is like taking a step back in time.
With a full deluxe interior, the seats have been retrofitted with
houndstooth in the front bucket seats as well as the rear. The
front seats hold you in with a 3-point seat belts. This Camaro has
the correct rally gauges and correct center console gauges. Above
the center console is where the modern necessities are. A Vintage
air setup will not only keep you cool on hot summer days, but it
also has a heat setting that will keep you warm on those cold
October nights. Although the 502 big block sounds amazing, this
Camaro has an upgraded JVC radio with not only am/FM and auxiliary
but it surrounds you with an amplified high end sound system
keeping you company on those long cruise nights.
The Underbody of the Camaro is not only solid and stout but has
been coated from front to back with rock protection to not only
help preserve the underbody but aides in sound damping as well.
With a toy car appearance the Ricks stainless gas tank shines like
a mirror. The front suspension has been upgraded to CPP tubular
control arms and QA1 Coilovers have been inserted giving you the
option to not only allow shock dampness but height adjustment as
well. Along with power steering, both the front and the rear have
added sway bars to help aid in anti-sway on tight turns. Just as
any car should the rear shocks also match with QA1 adjustable
shocks that are attached to the very strong 8.5" 10-bolt rear end
with positraction. So no more one-legged burnouts. And last but not
least, that 502 has to let the power be heard from somewhere;
Hooker Headers lead all of that sound through stainless steel
pipes, through Flowmaster mufflers, and out through two Chrome Tips
exhaust pipes letting everyone one that was a 502 Big Block that
just passed them by!
