mile, original example that is presented in classic L84A Guards Red
over black leather interior. The car is powered by its air-cooled
3.6 liter flat 6 Varioram engine and sends power to the rear wheels
via its 6-speed manual transaxle. Factory options when delivered
include Limited slip differential, ABD automatic braking
differential (traction control), N2 Tyres specially made for
Porsche, 18" lightweight hollow spoke wheels, 8 way electrical
drivers seat, Automatic speed control, Sun and moon roof, Becker
Radio with CD.
The car was purchased new in South Hampton, NY and exchanged hands
twice since, most recently to a local collector here in Grand
Rapids, MI. This Carrera S has been upgraded with Ruf wheels, Ruf
steering Wheel, Ruf strut brace, Ruf exhaust, Aero rear spoiler,
and short shift kit.
Today, at just 32850 miles, the car remains stunning in every
aspect. The factory paint remains excellent in all areas, the
interior leather remains supple and shows only very minor expected
wear on the seat bolster and the engine area remains very original
and tidy. Mechanically, the car is fierce. It sounds awesome
pulling strong to every shift point, the suspension is tight and
great feedback to the driver and it brakes smooth and straight.
