This simply STUNNING 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery is on a level that
most other automotive builders aspire to but few achieve. From nose
to tail, top to bottom, there is not one item that was done at
anything other than a top notch level. Starting with a completely
custom frame built by the fine folks at Kugel Komponets in La
Habra, Ca with SAC made frame rails, this blue beauty was then
outfitted with a fully independent front suspension with cast
stainless steel control arms and coil over shock absorbers,
independent rear suspension with polished components, inboard disc
brakes, dual rear coil over shocks, and custom 31 spline axles in a
Ford 9 axle housing. Providing the go power for this impressive
chassis is a brand new GM Performance crate ZZ4 350 V-8 making
355hp. This engine was then fitted with T.P.I. fuel injection and
ramjet intake by the folks at Street and Performance Technologies.
This engine features ported and polished aluminum heads for better
flow and roller rockers for reduced frictional power loss.
Completing the powertrain is a GM Performance 4L60E four speed
electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive.
This transmission shifts super smooth and the tall fourth gear
makes for great highway cruising capabilities and fuel economy.
While you could have left this chassis and engine combo sitting in
a museum as a work of art, it was covered with a 1933 Sedan
Delivery body by Downs, and fitted with an original 1933 grille.
This smooth flowing body was covered in a custom metallic blue
basecoat/clearcoat paint using only the finest PPG materials.
Afterwards many man hours were spent wet sanding and polishing the
clear coat to an absolutely gorgeous luster. The pictures DO NOT do
this car justice. The way the paint lights up in the sun is as
though it was backlit, it just glows. Completing the look are
Billet Specialites aluminum wheels in staggered front/rear sizes
and wrapped in Z-rated performance rubber. Hit the remote door
popper on the suicide doors and step into an interior that would
not be out of place in a Bentley. Wrapped in lipstick red leather
with paint matched panels and custom sculpted bucket seats, the
appearance elicits jaw drops from everyone that sticks their head
in. Gauges are Dakota Digital Commander Series set into a custom
billet aluminum panel, the Vintage Air blows nice and cold, and the
sounds are provided by a custom JVC/Cadence sound system. Power
windows, check, tilt column, check, cruise control, YEP that's here
also!! When was the last time you saw cruise control on a hot rod?
This car has everything!! The only thing it needs is a new garage
to call home and someone to love and adore it. If that's you,
