features factory original black paint which retains a rich luster
and shine. The Monte Carlos of this era are known for their the
fine quality of assembly fit and finish and ridged chassis. This
car features the factory High Sport Appearance package that
includes, the racing-inspired rear spoiler and ground effects. The
chassis rigidity is a key component in good handling
characteristics of this SS Chevy which features heavier anti-roll
bars and bigger tires standard on the SS version. The underbody of
this car is clean and there is no rust through maintaining its
structural integrity as designed. The four-wheel disc brakes and
independent rear suspension further enhance the performance driving
feel of this car. It's no wonder these were consider one of the

pushrod V-6 mated to a 4T65-E GM automatic. The 3800 in these cars
is plentiful with torque and have a reputation for being nearly
bulletproof. The Monte Carlo V6 produces 200 hp which when tested
new produced 60 mph: 8.6 sec and 1/4 mile time of 16.6 @ 84 mph.
