Vehicle Description
1928 Chevrolet Huckster wagon with original Steel body and wood
huckster bed. We believe it underwent a restoration in the 1980s
but still shows/runs and drives well. The 6-volt system is still
present to power the 4 cylinder engine paired with the 3-speed
manual transmission. The Gloss black paint shines nicely and the
wood has slight signs of weathering but is in great shape. This
Huckster cruises nicely down the road at a maximum speed of around
40 MPH shifting through gears as it should. This would make a great
promotional or display vehicle as well as a weekend cruiser! This
is a great example of the 1920s street Vendors wagon that was a way
of life in those times. The engine numbers decode as 1926 and does
not match the Vin, We believe from research its a 1926/27 Model
that may have been titled as 1928 model. There is a Vin plate
attached to the firewall that matches the title.
