Thanks to the twin-vortex supercharger, the two water-cooled intercoolers and high-pressure direct injection, Jaguar was able to squeeze a whopping 110 more horsepower out of the 'R' block, making it an outrageous spectacle every time you 'accidentally' hit the gas in the tunnel on the A9. Jaguar had also made huge gains on internal friction, which would reduce fuel consumption. We have to assume the latter, because when used as intended, it still drinks like an average German at Oktoberfest.
Ours? As she should! 41,000 kilometres, second owner, fully dealer maintained and almost completely original. Her little limiter has only been removed, so that she runs well over 300 kilometres per hour. Topless that is. Can we see you soon?
