2003 Ferrari 360 Modena In 1999, Ferrari revealed the 360 Modena,
an all-new Pininfarina designed model named after the birthplace of
Enzo Ferrari. The new generation of supercar ditched the wedged
proportions of the past decades in favor of something with a more
curvaceous body. An all-new aluminum space-frame underpinned the
360, making it 40tiffer than the outgoing F355. Another benefit of
using aluminum over steel is that it weighs considerably less -
some 28ighter than the frame of the old car. Mechanically, the 360
was very much an evolution of the F355. The capacity of the
flat-plane-crank 90-degree V8 had increased from 3.5 to 3.6 liters
(hence 360) but it retained the same basic architecture, including
the five-valve heads, and variable valve timing. Peak power was up,
from 375bhp to 394bhp, and torque climbed slightly, from 268 to
275lb ft, but produced much lower in the rev-range, endowing the
360 with a more muscular feel. This 2003 Ferrari 360 Modena offered
here for sale was ordered through Scottsdale Ferrari in Scottsdale,
Arizona in Tour De France Blue with a Crema interior. The optional
F1 six-speed sequential gearbox was fitted behind the 3.6L V8.
Additional options included silver brake calipers, rear challenge
grille, 6 cd changer, Daytona seats, colored upper dashboard,
electrically operated seats, Scuderia Ferrari shields, custom
piping color, custom stitching color, modular wheel rims,
upholstered top and high-power stereo with subwoofer. Since new
this 360 has only accumulated a mere 2,185 miles and looks as if it
just left the showroom! Having benefited from a recent major
service from a Ferrari dealership, this 360 Modena is ready to be
