It doesn't get much hotter than a slick black 69 Camaro convertible
with some fancy wheels and an LS3 motor.
EXTERIOR: The body is outstanding. Black doesn't hide anything and
this one has nothing to a hide. It is laser beam straight, all the
gaps are square and flush. I do not see any rust or damage. The
black is like a mirror, you could read a newspaper in the
reflection. It is decked out with spoilers, cowl hood and the
exterior trim package. All of the chrome bumpers, handles, mirrors,
emblems have been replaced. The grills, taillights, stainless
moldings have been replaced. New windshield, weatherstrips, black
convertible top. New set of staggered size wheels 17 inch in front
18 inch in back with Hancook performance tires.
INTERIOR: I love how it has the comfort weave upholstery on the new
sport bucket seats. The rear seat is upholstered to match. New door
panels, armrests, carpet and embroidered floor mats. New dash pad,
custom instrument panel with a matching set of gauges, Vintage Air
controls, custom leather wrapped steering. Original style console
with the horseshoe shifter but it has an updated overdrive shift
indicator. There is a retro stereo with new kick panel
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very desirable all aluminum Gm crate LS3 motor.
The fuel injected 6.2 liter makes a reliable 430 hp and 425 lbs of
torque. Stainless headers and intake tube. The front of the motor
has serpentine belt system, modern power steering and alternator.
Custom air brushed covers. Vintage Air heat and a/c system. The
motor runs cool with an aluminum radiator, electric fan and premium
braided hoses. It has an upgraded wiper motor, Wilwood master
cylinder, braided power steering hose, aluminum overflow
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed and upholstered. Bottom of the
trunk is upholstered, the floor is carpeted. A jack and spare
assembly are included.
UNDERSIDE: The front end has been completely taken apart and
rebuilt. All new bushings, ball joints, shocks, springs, sway bar,
steering components. In back it has new springs, bushings, shocks
and custom swaybar. The brake system has been upgraded with disc
all around. New hoses, lines and e-brake assembly. New fuel system
including the tank, pump and braided fuel lines. Custom made fat
exhaust system. Looking up at the motor it has an aluminum oil pan
which is actually a part of the structure of the engine, and a high
torque starter. Upgraded with a crate 4L60E overdrive automatic. In
back is a 10 bolt posi with an aluminum cover.
This is a sexy car. Imagine the sun's out, top's down, you turn the
key and the LS3 growls to life. Put it in drive and go. Don't you
think you deserve that?
