MG and their iconic and highly recognizable cars are a joy to
drive, admire and tinker with. These English vehicles have a very
strong following and the style is unlike anything else on the
roads. Produced for over 20years the brand continues to harness new
collectors and admirers each year. According to the owner the car
is a 1966, however it is titled as a 1968 - reflecting when it was
sold new.
This sharp chrome bumper MG was rotisserie restored just 130 miles
ago. The owner bought the car as a basket case and was looking for
something to keep him busy, and this did just that and the result
is a beautifully built car. The red paint shows well and the panels
are and body lines - line up nicely. The following are new:
convertible top, front disc brakes, wiring harness, chrome bumpers,
driving lights, aluminum radiator, oil cooler, high torque starter,
shocks, poly bushings all around, brake lines, clutch master and
slave cylinder, original style exhaust, SU Carburetors, coil, fuse
box, SS oil lines, fuel tank, fuel pump, battery, distributor and
light control. The brake master is rebuilt and the steering wheel
is refinished. The car also comes with its tool kit and a spare
tire. Along with the car comes a large stack of receipts reflecting
the build. The car is ready to be enjoyed and driven on a regular
basis. This is the more desirable early B with steel bumpers.
