Exterior
A fresh pristine coat of Polar Blue bathes large straight steel panels throughout this unibody constructed car. Dual headlights are on front for this year and these round pairs flank either side of a large stainless steel central grille. Miles of hood make their way back to a pristine windshield, 4 doors and sturdy a and b pillars. Mid front doors are the beginnings of what will become the large rear "finnage", massive trunk lid and boomerang style taillights floating above this menagerie. Just below these wings is a shiny bumper which wraps around the rear quarter and aims slightly upward. Like new rubber is on all 4 corners topped by Chrysler badged wheel coverings. Excess is a good thing particularly when it relates to Detroit iron bought by the inch!

Interior
Slip inside and immediately you are greeted with various surfaces, expensive coverings, and a dash to die for. Door panels use blue vinyl with 60's pattern cloth inserts dual bench seats, front and rear, use blue vinyl bolsters and dark cloth inserts complete with a highlighting metal thread woven throughout. Some stitching has separated at the seam of the vinyl and cloth. Futuristic styling with push button transmission, temp and fan controls surround a semicircular dash with a metal bowl with more controls on layers of semicircle and a crescent speedometer. A large original wheel fronts the dash, blue carpeting floods the floors, and the headliner floats above. A shout out the trunk which is very clean with the necessary items to change a tire.

Drivetrain
Under the aforementioned hood in a clean fully restored and freshly painted engine bay is a 383ci Golden Lion V8. No runs, no drips or errors on this engine. It is fed by a 2-barrel carburetor on top, and there is a 3 speed Torqueflite transmission pushing smooth as silk power rearward to a 2.93 pumpkin.

Undercarriage
Factory undercoating has done its job well as there is no rust on that unibody frame which allows the upper body to float on independent torsion bar front and leaf sprung rear suspension. Power drum brakes for all the wheels and this car has power steering.

Driveability
This car put a definite smile on my face as I drove down memory lane and thought about how simple life was back in its heyday. Smooth acceleration, quick braking and a very quiet ride with all functions working swimmingly.

Lots of wow factors in this example. Nice paint throughout, futuristic styling, big fins, boomerang taillights, and 4 doors. I'll grab my wool hat with a feather in it, cinch up my thin tie, light my pipe and go show off to those beehive hairdos hipsters and swingers.
