1958 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup. This Cameo was found in a garage in
central Ohio This truck was purchased by the previous owner in 1973
(yes the 1973 signed over Ohio title comes with the truck), The
Cameo was completely disassembled, the new drive train was
freshened up and put in a cleaned and painted pre 94 S10 frame. The
frame has completely been cleaned and painted, all new A arms ball
joints and bushings, new fuel lines, new aluminum fuel cell,
balanced drive shaft, disc brake rear end from a Blazer and all new
drilled slotted rotors and calipers at all four corners. Engine is
a fresh SBC, torque cam, Rochester 4 barrel, new fuel pump, new
water pump, new chrome alternator, new stainless tube headers, new
aluminum radiator Body was in excellent solid condition with any
imperfections fixed and shot with PPG products and cleared Glass is
in great shape with all new seals, all new door seals also
installed. All bumpers, grill, headlight trim, hood trim, and tail
light trim has been re-chromed. Body trim and detail mouldings are
in great shape and have been polished. Bed to trim strips could be
rechromed but not necessary .The interior boast new Dolphin gauges,
EZ wiring harness and all new wiring throughout, new electric
wipers, shaved dash with custom Vintage Air system, GM tilt column,
custom painted 1960 Impala steering wheel, custom air ride gauge
mounts and a flat out awesome custom upholstery . Devil is in the
details, take note of the custom airbrushed kick panels on the
interior...they match the ribbing of the door panels! The bed was
finished with premium grade red oak that was torch singed (to make
the grain pop) and shot with orange candy paint and 3 coats of
clear. Custom inner fenders made from splitting a Harley front
fender and polished stainless bed ribs finished it off. The truck
rides on all new Chrome Ridler 650 wheels, 20x8 in the front and
20x10 in the rear. Air ride has a 5 gallon steel tank, 2 Viair 440
compressors and controlled with Air
